It's only been five days since it's gotten the official
go ahead, but AT&T's wasted no time in
completing its acquisition of a swath of 700MHz spectrum from Qualcomm. Those airwaves, which
formerly powered FLO TV, were purchased for a cool $1.9 billion and will now be repurposed to bolster Ma Bell's LTE network. It might not have been everything the carrier had
hoped for, but additional spectrum is better than none, right? Possibly the shortest press release you'll ever see awaits after the break.
